Disassembly Instructions

1.  First, insure the breech bolt (40) is in battery  and carrier (68) is fully up. This aligns actuating groove on  left side of carrier with corresponding notch on arm of  action slide (17). Cutaway view shows action slide arm just  prior to engaging the groove.		2. Unlock magazine assembly into receiver by pressing on  the magazine locking pin as shown.
3. Turn the magazine tube counterclockwise. Using the action slide, pull forward until it stops. The action slide should now be out of the receiver.		4. Next (A) turn barrel (1) and assembly 90 Deg. and remove from adjusting sleeve (6) in receiver (51). Then (B), gently pull the front portion from the receiver.

For Solid Frame Models - See Two Steps Below:

For Solid Frame guns: Remove the Barrel Band screw and front barrel band.		Remove the screw in the frame for the mag tub. Then unscrew the Magazine tube. Then remove action slide

This is as far as you normally need to disassemble for cleaning, etc.
